Fanatec ClubSport Wheel Rim Sparco GT

Licensed Sparco P310 replica: 310 mm flat-bottom Alcantara GT rim

Description

The Fanatec ClubSport Wheel Rim Sparco GT is an officially licensed replica of the popular Sparco P310. The flat design is 310 mm wide but only 235 mm from top to bottom.

Materials. Brushed and anodized aluminum rim covered in genuine Alcantara, weighing just 562 g. Fanatec says the size and flat shape make it ideal for GT racing and single-seaters.

Mounting. Fits the CSL Universal Hub, CSL Universal Hub V2, ClubSport Universal Hub (all versions) and Podium Hub with no drilling, and pairs with the Podium Button Module Rally (sold separately). It has no electronics; a hub is required. The same rim is sold pre-assembled as the CSL and ClubSport Steering Wheel Sparco GT.

Driving style

The Sparco GT replicates the Sparco P310, a flat-top, flat-bottom rim common in GT and single-seater racing. At 310 mm wide and 562 g, it suits GT3, GT4, prototypes and single-seaters in ACC, iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate, rFactor 2 and Gran Turismo 7, with quick, precise inputs.

It fits Fanatec hub owners who want a light, licensed GT rim. Best for GT, prototype and single-seater racing; less suited for drifting and rally, where a round rim is easier to spin.

Build quality

Premium build

An officially licensed Sparco replica in brushed, anodized aluminum with genuine Alcantara. It is notably light at 562 g and has no electronics. The licensed design and materials put it above standard ClubSport rims, although Alcantara still needs care against sweat.

Software

The Sparco GT rim has no electronics and needs no software. Inputs come from the Fanatec hub or the optional Podium Button Module Rally, configured through the wheel base in the Fanatec App on Windows PC.

Platform support follows the hub and base: Xbox requires an Xbox hub such as the ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox, and PlayStation requires a PlayStation-licensed base.

Frequently asked questions

Which hubs and modules does the Sparco GT rim fit?

Fanatec lists the CSL Universal Hub, CSL Universal Hub V2, ClubSport Universal Hub (all versions), Podium Hub and the Podium Button Module Rally. A hub is required on a Fanatec base.

Does it use a standard bolt pattern?

It mounts with six M5x16 bolts. An Overtake.gg commenter notes the Sparco GT shares the outer rim of a Thrustmaster wheel with a standard 6-hole, 70 mm pattern, matching the 6x70 mm pattern Fanatec's universal hubs accept.

What racing does the Sparco GT shape suit?

Fanatec says the 310 mm size and flat shape are ideal for GT racing and single-seaters. GTPlanet describes it as 310 mm across but 235 mm tall with flat top and bottom edges.

How durable is the Alcantara?

Overtake.gg users report Alcantara is more durable than suede but still ages with sweat; one user saw the Alcantara on his P310 start to delaminate. Many wear light gloves; Fanatec advises cleaning with a microfiber cloth and lukewarm water.

Is Alcantara wear covered by warranty?

Fanatec states extra wear on rim materials and stitching caused by gloves is not covered under warranty.

Rim alone or the complete Sparco GT steering wheel?

The rim costs $179.99 at Fanatec US for owners with a hub. Fanatec also sells it pre-assembled: the CSL Steering Wheel Sparco GT with a CSL Universal Hub V2, and the ClubSport Steering Wheel Sparco GT with a ClubSport Universal Hub V2 (listed at $504.99).

Sparco GT or Sparco Formula?

The Sparco GT is a 310 mm flat GT rim (P310 replica, 562 g). The Sparco Formula is a smaller 270 mm formula rim (F-10 A replica, 478 g) for open-wheel cars. Both use Alcantara and fit the Podium Button Module Rally.

Can I add buttons and a display?

Yes. It is compatible with the Podium Button Module Rally (sold separately). Without it, inputs come from your hub.
