Driving style

The Sparco Rally rim replicates the Sparco R383, a 330 mm round rally wheel. It suits EA SPORTS WRC, DiRT Rally 2.0, Richard Burns Rally and rallycross, where hand-over-hand steering and the blue center stripe help in slides. It also works for road cars and drifting.

It fits Fanatec hub owners who want an authentic rally wheel, optionally with the Podium Button Module Rally. Best for rally and rallycross; less suited for formula and GT3 racing that favor smaller, flat rims.

Build quality

Premium build

An officially licensed Sparco replica in brushed, anodized aluminum with genuine Alcantara and a Sparco-branded stripe. Construction is simple with no electronics, and the licensed design and Alcantara put it above standard ClubSport rims. Alcantara still needs care against sweat.

Software

The Sparco Rally rim has no electronics and needs no software. With the Podium Button Module Rally, its buttons, switches and display are configured through the wheel base in the Fanatec App on Windows PC; otherwise inputs come from the hub.

Platform support follows the hub and base: Xbox requires an Xbox hub such as the ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox, and PlayStation requires a PlayStation-licensed base.

Frequently asked questions

Which hubs and modules does the Sparco Rally rim fit?

Fanatec lists the CSL Universal Hub, CSL Universal Hub V2, ClubSport Universal Hub (all versions), Podium Hub and the Podium Button Module Rally. A hub is required on a Fanatec base.

Is it a real Sparco product?

It is an officially licensed Sparco replica of the R383 wheel, made by Fanatec. GTPlanet notes the blue Sparco-branded center strip serves as a quick dead-ahead reference.

Is it good for rally?

Fanatec describes the 330 mm round rim as ideal for rally and suitable for many disciplines. It is the rim used in the ClubSport Rally Sweden bundle with the Podium Button Module Rally.

How durable is the Alcantara?

Overtake.gg commenters note Alcantara is more durable and easier to clean than suede, but sim racers also report sweat ages Alcantara and wear gloves to protect it. Fanatec advises a microfiber cloth with lukewarm water and no chemicals.

Is Alcantara wear covered by warranty?

Fanatec states extra wear on rim materials and stitching caused by gloves is not covered under warranty.

Sparco Rally or ClubSport R330?

Both are 330 mm round rally-capable rims. The Sparco Rally is a licensed R383 replica in Alcantara that fits the Podium Button Module Rally; the R330 uses smooth leather with blue and orange accents and includes a hub cover.

Is it fairly priced compared with a real Sparco wheel?

It costs $179.99 at Fanatec US. An Overtake.gg commenter considered Fanatec's Sparco replicas fairly priced versus the original Sparco wheels, and the Rally rim sold out quickly at launch.

Can I add buttons and a display?

Yes. It is designed to fit the Podium Button Module Rally (sold separately), developed with M-Sport. Without it, inputs come from your hub.
