Description

The Fanatec ClubSport Wheel Rim Classic 2 is made for vintage road cars and historic racing cars. Its thin, large-diameter rim recreates the feel of driving a classic car.

Materials. Three-spoke polished and anodized silver aluminum rim covered in genuine smooth leather, 35 cm in diameter and 840 g. A silver metal hub cover with a black Fanatec 'F' signet is included.

Mounting. Designed to fit the CSL Universal Hub, ClubSport Universal Hub (all versions) and Podium Hub with no drilling. It has no electronics; a hub is required and console compatibility depends on the hub and wheel base.

The Classic 2 is a thin 35 cm rim for vintage road cars and historic racers. It fits classic car content in Assetto Corsa, historic series in Automobilista 2 and rFactor 2, Gran Turismo 7's classic cars and road-trip cruising, where a large wheel and slow, deliberate inputs feel authentic.

It suits Fanatec hub owners who enjoy classic and historic cars. Best for vintage road cars, historic racing and relaxed road driving; less suited for modern formula, GT3 and competitive sprint racing, where smaller rims are faster.

Build quality

Mid-range build

Polished, anodized aluminum spokes, genuine smooth leather and a metal hub cover give the rim a solid, period-correct finish. There are no electronics, so it is a simple bolt-on part. It is a standard ClubSport rim rather than a licensed replica.

Software

The ClubSport Wheel Rim Classic 2 has no electronics and needs no software. Buttons, paddles and console licensing come from the Fanatec hub and wheel base, configured in the Fanatec App on Windows PC.

Platform support follows the hub and base: Xbox requires an Xbox hub such as the ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox, and PlayStation requires a PlayStation-licensed base. On PC, SimHub and other tools work with the hub's inputs as usual.
