Thrustmaster EVO Wheel Rim 32R Leather

32 cm round synthetic leather rim with long curved paddles for the EVO Racing Hub

Description

The Thrustmaster EVO Wheel Rim 32R Leather is a detachable round rim for Thrustmaster's modular EVO Racing system. It has no electronics and must be combined with the EVO Racing Hub, sold separately.

Rim. A versatile 32 cm (12.6 in) round rim wrapped in synthetic leather over a brushed aluminum frame, about 650 g, aimed at rally and other disciplines.

Paddles. A set of long, curved paddle shifters is included and mounts to the hub's Mag-Shift modules.

Compatibility. It fits the EVO Racing Hub (2.3 in / 58 mm PCD), which works with Thrustmaster force feedback bases on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It is the same shape as the rim on the complete EVO Racing 32R Leather, and also fits the hub of the EVO Racing 31U Leather.

Driving style

The 32R rim suits rally in EA SPORTS WRC and DiRT Rally 2.0, plus GT, road cars and drifting, thanks to its round shape and long paddles that stay reachable while turning. OverTake.gg recommends the EVO 32R for rally and drift over Thrustmaster's oval Hypercar wheel.

Best for EVO Racing Hub owners who want a round, versatile rim; less suited for formula racing, where the 31U rim fits better, or for anyone without the EVO hub.

Build quality

Mid-range build

It combines a brushed aluminum frame with synthetic leather, at about 650 g. Mediaberry found the 32R rim comfortable and versatile but noted slight flex under heavy load, which it did not notice while racing.

Software

The rim has no electronics or software of its own; buttons, LEDs and paddle sensors are on the EVO Racing Hub, configured through the base's Thrustmaster drivers or My Thrustmaster Panel on PC.
