MOZA GS V2P GT Wheel
300 mm forged carbon GT wheel with magnetic paddles and dual clutch
Description
The MOZA GS V2P GT Wheel is a 300 mm GT steering wheel and the third iteration of MOZA's GS line, first released in 2022.
Build. 5 mm forged carbon fiber face plate, carbon fiber-reinforced composite back plate, perforated microfiber leather grips and 3 mm forged carbon fiber paddles.
Controls. 10 luminous mechanical buttons, 5 rotary encoders, 2 depressible thumb encoders and 2 universal joysticks. Two magnetic shifter paddles use non-contact Hall sensors, and two clutch paddles work as a combined axis, independent axes or buttons (they can also serve as hand throttle and brake).
Lights. A 10-bead RGB rev indicator with 8 colors, adjustable in MOZA Pit House. There is no screen.
Compatibility. All-aluminum MOZA quick release; works with wired MOZA bases (R3, R5, R9 V2/V3, R12 V2, R16 V2, R21 V2, R21 Ultra, R25 Ultra) but not the wireless R9 V1, R16 V1 or R21 V1. Third-party bases via the MOZA Universal Hub Kit. PC only.
Features & highlights
Driving style
The GS V2P is a mid-range GT wheel that covers GT3, GTE, prototypes and formula cars in Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate, rFactor 2 and the F1 series. Five rotaries, two joysticks and dual clutch paddles give quick access to TC, ABS, brake bias and launch control, and a reviewer found it direct and responsive on an R12. It is chunky and heavy, so it suits a mid or high torque base and may feel big for small hands. Best for beginner and intermediate GT racers who want lots of inputs without a screen; less suited for rally and drift, or for drivers who want telemetry on the wheel, who should look at the KS Pro or FSR2.
Build quality
A 5 mm forged carbon fiber face and 3 mm forged carbon paddles sit on a carbon-reinforced composite back with a plastic rear section, wrapped in perforated microfiber leather. A reviewer found the mechanical buttons durable but the overall feel chunky and less premium than a Fanatec ClubSport rim, at roughly 3 kg. MOZA lists up to 24 months of warranty.
Software
The GS V2P is configured in MOZA Pit House on Windows PC, including button colors, RPM and shift-light behavior and clutch paddle modes. It is a PC wheel without console licensing and only works with wired MOZA bases or third-party bases through the MOZA Universal Hub Kit. Force feedback comes from the base.
