Thrustmaster Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF-25 Edition

1:1 Ferrari SF-25 F1 replica with 4.3" display and T-Chrono paddles for T818/T598

Description

The Thrustmaster Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF-25 Edition is an official life-size replica of the steering wheel from Ferrari's 2025 SF-25 Formula 1 car, developed with Ferrari for Thrustmaster's direct drive bases. It launched in spring 2026.

Display and controls. A 4.3-inch (109 mm) IPS LCD shows up to 69 items of information, with 21 LEDs for engine speed and race information, 25 action buttons and 7 encoders with authentic in-race markings.

Paddles. It ships with T-Chrono Paddles: aluminum push-pull shifters with gold-plated silver contacts and under 5 ms response.

Build. 100% carbon fiber central faceplate, 280 × 120 × 170 mm, 1,250 g.

Compatibility. The next-gen quick release fits the T818 and T598 natively, on PC, PlayStation and Xbox depending on the base. For older T-Series bases, the SF1000 is the native fit.

Driving style

The SF-25 is built for Formula 1 and single-seater racing in F1 25, Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing and Automobilista 2, where the display, encoders and quick T-Chrono paddles matter. It targets owners of Thrustmaster's T818 and T598 direct drive bases.

Best for F1 fans on a T818 or T598 who want the newest Ferrari replica; less suited for owners of older belt-driven Thrustmaster bases, and for rally, drift or GT driving that needs a round rim.

Build quality

Premium build

The SF-25 uses a 100% carbon fiber central faceplate and fully aluminum T-Chrono paddles with gold-plated silver contacts, at 1,250 g. Independent long-term build reviews were still limited when this page was written.

Software

The wheel is configured and updated through My Thrustmaster Panel on Windows when used on a T818 or T598, with no separate app. On PlayStation and Xbox it works through a compatible T598 base. Native display telemetry depends on each game's support, and Thrustmaster keeps the compatible games list on its support site.

Frequently asked questions

Which wheel bases is the SF-25 compatible with?

Thrustmaster designed it with the next-gen quick release for the T818 and T598 direct drive bases, with no adapter needed. It is not listed for older belt-driven bases such as the T300 or TX.

Does the SF-25 work on Xbox?

Thrustmaster's US eShop lists PC (Windows 10/11), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Console support depends on the base, so on Xbox it needs the Xbox version of the T598.

SF-25 vs SF1000: what is different?

Both have a 4.3-inch display, 25 buttons and 7 encoders. The SF-25 replicates Ferrari's 2025 wheel, comes with T-Chrono Paddles and uses the next-gen quick release for T818 and T598. The SF1000 uses magnetic paddles, adds two analog paddles and fits older T-Series bases natively.

What paddles does the SF-25 use?

It ships with T-Chrono Paddles: aluminum push-pull shifters with gold-plated silver contact switches and under 5 ms response. Reviewers of the same paddles on the SF1000 found them quicker and crisper than the standard magnetic paddles.

How much does the SF-25 cost?

BoxThisLap reported a launch price of 399.99 euros/dollars. When verified, Thrustmaster's US eShop listed it at $399.99 and Amazon.com at $429.99.

Does the display show telemetry in every game?

The 4.3-inch IPS LCD shows up to 69 items of information when the game supports it. On Thrustmaster's earlier SF1000, reviewers found native display support strongest in the official F1 games.

What is it made of?

Thrustmaster lists a 100% carbon fiber central faceplate and aluminum T-Chrono paddles, with a weight of 1,250 g and dimensions of 280 × 120 × 170 mm.

Where can I get support for the SF-25?

Thrustmaster's support site has a dedicated SF-25 page with manuals and firmware, and updates are installed through My Thrustmaster Panel on PC.
