Reviewed as MOZA's best wheel for MOZA bases at launch

Driving style

The Vision GS is a premium GT wheel for drivers who want a striking display in the cockpit. Its 310 mm rim, joystick, seven-way switch and encoders suit GT3, GTE and endurance racing in Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate and rFactor 2, and the round touchscreen shows gear, delta and car settings while self-leveling as you steer. Reviewers found it communicates force feedback in detail and is comfortable over long stints. Best for MOZA owners upgrading to a showpiece GT wheel; less suited for drift and rally, which need a round rim, or for budget buyers who can get a screen on the KS Pro for less.

Build quality

Premium build

The Vision GS pairs a carbon fiber-reinforced composite front with an aerospace-grade aluminum back plate and hand-stitched microfiber leather. A reviewer found the build quality significantly higher than expected, with aluminum rotaries and thumb encoders, though the rotaries show slight lateral play and the paddles are somewhat noisy. MOZA lists up to 24 months of warranty.

Software

The Vision GS is configured in MOZA Pit House on Windows PC: input mapping, clutch modes, shift-light colors and the round touchscreen's UI and telemetry pages, which run on the wheel's own quad-core processor. There is no SimHub support for the display. It is a PC wheel without console licensing; force feedback comes from the base. The MOZA Universal Hub Kit enables third-party bases, though one reviewer needed third-party adapters for a Simucube 2.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the MOZA Vision GS on a non-MOZA wheel base?

Yes, through the MOZA Universal Hub Kit. One reviewer found the hub hard to separate and needed third-party adapters to mount it on a Simucube 2, so check your base's mounting first.

What makes the Vision GS screen special?

It is a 2.85-inch round HD touchscreen running on a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, and it self-levels so the display stays upright while you steer. A reviewer called self-leveling its unique feature, though the reorientation is slightly choppy. There is no SimHub support.

Are the Vision GS paddles noisy?

A reviewer found the shift and clutch paddles quick and responsive but slightly noisier than necessary, comparable to the Cube Controls GTX2. The clutch can run in combined axis, split axis or button mode.

Vision GS vs KS Pro: is the extra cost worth it?

The Vision GS ($699 on sale) adds a round touchscreen with its own processor, aluminum encoders, a stitched leather rim and an aluminum back plate. The KS Pro ($329) also has a screen and more encoders but a more plasticky build.

Is the Vision GS well built?

A reviewer says its build quality is significantly higher than expected, with carbon composite, aluminum and stitched microfiber leather. The main flaw noted was slight lateral play in the rotaries.

Does the Vision GS work on consoles?

No. It is a PC wheel without console licensing; MOZA's Xbox route is the ESX wheel.

Is the Vision GS worth its price?

At launch it listed at $749 and a reviewer called it the best MOZA wheel for MOZA base owners. It is now $699 on sale; the CS Pro and KS Pro bring a screen to MOZA wheels for much less.

What warranty does the Vision GS have?

MOZA's US store lists up to 24 months of warranty protection.
