MOZA Porsche Mission R Steering Wheel
Officially licensed Porsche replica with 5.4" curved OLED and CNC aluminum chassis
Description
The MOZA Porsche Mission R is an officially licensed replica of the steering wheel from Porsche's Mission R electric race car concept, built from Porsche's original CAD data and shown at CES 2026.
Build. CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminum frame and back plate, a curved (300R) high-strength tempered glass front and faux suede grips. Width is 320 mm, and the wheel sits deeper than a typical MOZA wheel.
Display. A 5.4-inch flexible OLED (720p, 60 Hz) behind the curved glass, with a fully customizable UI in MOZA Pit House. There is no separate rev LED bar; shift lights are drawn on the display.
Controls. 4 backlit and 4 floating short-travel buttons, 2 rear buttons, 2 thumb buttons, 2 aluminum rotary encoders and 2 aluminum thumbwheels. Aluminum magnetic shift paddles and aluminum magnetic clutch paddles support single or dual-clutch operation.
Compatibility. Fits all MOZA wheel bases with the all-aluminum MOZA quick release; third-party bases via the MOZA Universal Hub Kit. PC only.
Features & highlights
Driving style
The Mission R is a statement wheel for high-end rigs. Its rigid aluminum chassis and large OLED make it feel at home in single-seaters, prototypes and modern GT cars in iRacing (reviewers liked it in the IR18 Indycar), Le Mans Ultimate, Assetto Corsa Competizione and the F1 series. It is deep and heavy, so it needs a strong direct drive base such as the R16 Ultra or above, and reviewers found it a weaker fit for rally and road cars. Best for Porsche fans and collectors who want a showpiece that drives well; less suited for value-focused buyers, as the FSR2 or GS V2P offer more inputs for far less money.
Build quality
The chassis and back plate are CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminum with no meaningful flex or creaking reported, behind a curved tempered glass front and faux suede grips. Encoders, thumbwheels and paddles are aluminum, a step up from MOZA's plastic parts, although reviewers found the plastic buttons underwhelming at this price. MOZA lists up to 24 months of warranty.
Software
The Mission R is configured in MOZA Pit House on Windows PC, which maps inputs, sets paddle modes and lets you build widget layouts for the 5.4-inch OLED. Reviewers say the default presets feel unfinished (speed shown instead of gear) and there is no SimHub support. It is a PC wheel without console licensing; force feedback comes from the MOZA base. The MOZA Universal Hub Kit enables third-party bases.
