Thrustmaster T-LCM Pedals โ€” All-metal 3-pedal set with 100 kg load cell brake and 16-bit magnetic sensors

Thrustmaster T-LCM Pedals

All-metal 3-pedal set with 100 kg load cell brake and 16-bit magnetic sensors

Description

The Thrustmaster T-LCM Pedals are a three-pedal set with a load cell brake that reads up to 100 kg (220 lb) of pressure. The throttle and clutch use contactless H.E.A.R.T magnetic sensors with up to 16-bit resolution (65,536 values per pedal).

Adjustment. A set of six springs (with washers) tunes the brake feel, and pedal height, inclination and spacing are adjustable. Electronic brake force and dead zones are set in Thrustmaster's calibration software.

Build. 100% metal pedal heads, arms and textured footrest in a 330 ร— 380 ร— 220 mm, 5.2 kg package.

Connection. Removable USB and RJ12 cables: direct USB to a Windows PC (recommended for best resolution), or RJ12 to a Thrustmaster wheel base on PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC, including the T598 and T818.

Driving style

The T-LCM is a load cell upgrade for drivers who want braking by pressure for consistency and trail braking in iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Le Mans Ultimate, F1 and Gran Turismo 7, and the clutch supports manual cars, rally and drifting. Users report it can take days to weeks to build muscle memory and some fine-tune the spring stack to modulate well. Best for Thrustmaster console players and PC racers on any base who want load cell braking at a mid price; less suited for drivers on slippery floors without a cockpit, or those who want the latest 24-bit Raceline load cell.

Build quality

Mid-range build

The T-LCM uses steel pedal arms, heads, heel plate and springs inside a plastic shell (330 ร— 380 ร— 220 mm, 5.2 kg), with a weighted front for floor stability and a template for cockpit mounting. Reviewers report some sideways wobble on the pedals, especially the brake, and a broken rubber stopper was mentioned on forums after modding.

Software

Brake force and dead zones are set in Thrustmaster's T-LCM calibration software on Windows, which requires a direct USB connection to the PC. Thrustmaster recommends USB on PC for best resolution; on consoles the pedals connect to a Thrustmaster base by RJ12 and are plug and play. On PC they work as a standalone USB device with any wheel base, and SimHub can read the inputs.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the T-LCM pedals on PC with a non-Thrustmaster wheel base?

Yes. The T-LCM has a removable USB cable and works as a standalone USB device on Windows PC, which Thrustmaster recommends for best resolution. On consoles it must connect to a Thrustmaster wheel base by RJ12.

Do I need USB to calibrate the T-LCM?

Windows Central found the calibration app did not detect the pedals through a T248 wheel, so they connected the pedals directly to the PC by USB to calibrate brake force and dead zones.

Is the T-LCM load cell brake hard to modulate?

Opinions are split on OverTake: roughly half of posters found modulation tricky, especially when releasing pressure, while others said it improved after days or weeks of practice. Stiffer springs and careful calibration help some users.

Do the T-LCM pedals wobble or slide?

Windows Central reported noticeable sideways wobble on all pedals, especially the brake, and that the set can slide on slippery floors with stiffer springs. Mounting it to a cockpit avoids sliding.

T-LCM vs T3PM: is the load cell worth it?

Flow Racers rates the T-LCM as the most realistic and adjustable Thrustmaster set thanks to its load cell, while the T3PM is the value pick with a magnetic brake and four pressure modes. The T-LCM costs about $100 more.

Is the T-LCM good value at $249.99?

Windows Central called it a fair price for a load cell brake and "well worth the upgrade" for realism and customization. The newer Raceline Pedals III LC adds a 24-bit brake for $269.99.
