Thrustmaster Raceline Pedals III LC — All-metal 3-pedal set with 100 kg, 24-bit load cell brake

Thrustmaster Raceline Pedals III LC

All-metal 3-pedal set with 100 kg, 24-bit load cell brake

Description

The Thrustmaster Raceline Pedals III LC is a three-pedal set with a load cell brake that measures pressure rather than travel. The load cell handles up to 100 kg (220 lb) with 24-bit resolution across an 11° travel angle.

Brake tuning. Brake force runs from 25 to 100 kg across four configurations using three included springs and an elastomer buffer, changeable without tools, and a preload dial fine-tunes it in ±5 kg steps. Pedal travel, dead zones and response curves are set in software.

Throttle and clutch. Both use contactless H.E.A.R.T magnetic sensors; the clutch is removable for a two-pedal layout. Pedal position and height are adjustable.

Build and connection. A full metal structure with anthracite non-slip textured pedal heads (350 × 360 × 210 mm, 4.6 kg). RJ45, USB-C and triple-jack-to-RJ12 cables are included: RJ45 to the T598, USB to PC, or RJ12 to Thrustmaster force feedback bases on console (except the T500).

Driving style

The Raceline Pedals III LC are aimed at drivers who want pressure-based braking for repeatable brake points and trail braking. The 24-bit load cell and up to 100 kg of force suit GT and endurance racing in iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Le Mans Ultimate and Gran Turismo 7, and the removable clutch covers historic cars, rally and drifting with an H-pattern shifter. Best for Thrustmaster owners, especially T598 users, upgrading from Hall or potentiometer pedals; less suited for drivers without a rigid cockpit, since high brake forces push light floor or desk setups around.

Build quality

Mid-range build

The Raceline Pedals III LC use a fully metal frame and pedal arms with anthracite non-slip textured metal pedal heads (350 × 360 × 210 mm, 4.6 kg). The brake combines a load cell with three springs, an elastomer buffer and a preload dial. It is a modular design shared with the Raceline LTE and III sets, so parts can be upgraded rather than replaced.

Software

On PC the pedals are tuned in My Thrustmaster Panel on Windows 10/11: pedal travel, dead zones and response curves (EQUALIZER). With a T598 base the same settings are available on the Race Dash screen, which is also how they are tuned on PlayStation. On console the pedals connect through a Thrustmaster force feedback base (RJ12) or the T598 (RJ45); on PC Thrustmaster recommends a direct USB connection for best resolution with other bases. SimHub can read the inputs on PC.

Frequently asked questions

How do the Raceline Pedals III LC connect to my wheel base or PC?

With a T598 they use the included RJ45 cable. With the T818, T248R and other Thrustmaster force feedback bases, Thrustmaster recommends a direct USB connection to PC for optimal resolution and RJ12 on consoles. They are not compatible with the T500 on console.

Do the Raceline Pedals III LC work on Xbox and PlayStation?

Yes, through a Thrustmaster force feedback wheel base on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. On console the pedals rely on the base for connection; standalone USB use applies to PC.

How much brake force can the load cell take, and how is it adjusted?

The load cell is rated to 100 kg (220 lb) with 24-bit resolution. Force can be set between 25 and 100 kg in four configurations using three springs and an elastomer buffer, without tools, and a preload dial adjusts it in ±5 kg steps.

Raceline Pedals III LC vs T-LCM: which should I buy?

Both have a 100 kg load cell brake. The Raceline III LC adds a 24-bit brake sensor, a preload dial and four tool-free force configurations, plus native RJ45 support for the T598, for about $20 more. The T-LCM uses a six-spring stack and has a different bolt pattern, which matters on cockpits.

Can I upgrade my Raceline Pedals LTE or III instead of buying the LC set?

Yes. Thrustmaster sells the Raceline LC Upgrade ($179.99), which turns a Raceline Pedals LTE or III set into a Raceline Pedals III LC by adding the load cell brake and parts.

What software settings are available for the Raceline Pedals III LC?

Pedal travel, dead zones and response curves (EQUALIZER) can be adjusted in My Thrustmaster Panel on PC or on the T598 Race Dash screen.
