Thrustmaster Raceline Pedals LTE

Entry all-metal 2-pedal set with H.E.A.R.T sensors, upgradable to 3 pedals with load cell

Description

The Thrustmaster Raceline Pedals LTE is an entry two-pedal set (throttle and brake) with an all-metal structure and frictionless H.E.A.R.T magnetic sensors. It is the pedal set included with the T598 bundle.

Adjustment. Pressure force is adjustable with three notches behind each pedal and different springs, and pedal position and height can be changed. Two carpet grips are included for floor use.

Connection. The set connects to a Thrustmaster wheel base by RJ12 (T598, T818 and Thrustmaster force feedback bases, except the T500) on PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC.

Upgrade path. The Raceline LC Upgrade adds a third pedal, a load cell brake, a wider metal plate and metal pedal heads, turning it into a Raceline Pedals III LC. Dimensions are 270 ร— 300 ร— 180 mm and weight 2.3 kg.

Driving style

The Raceline Pedals LTE are a first metal pedal set for Thrustmaster wheel owners, covering automatic and paddle-shift cars in GT, formula and touring racing in Gran Turismo 7, F1, Forza Motorsport, Assetto Corsa Competizione and iRacing. Reviewers found them easy to modulate and stable on a desk with the floor grips. With no clutch they are less suited to H-pattern or rally driving until upgraded. Best for beginners and T598 owners on a budget who plan to upgrade later; less suited for drivers who want a clutch or load cell braking now.

Build quality

Entry-level build

The Raceline Pedals LTE combine an all-metal structure with spring resistance and magnetic sensors in a compact 270 ร— 300 ร— 180 mm, 2.3 kg footprint. The modular design keeps the core frame when upgrading to three pedals with a load cell brake. Reviewers note the bolt spacing differs from older Thrustmaster pedals and the heel rest lacks a long-screw hole.

Software

The Raceline Pedals LTE have no standalone software: they connect through a Thrustmaster wheel base by RJ12, so calibration and settings come from the base (My Thrustmaster Panel on PC for T598/T818, or the T598 Race Dash screen). On console they are plug and play through the base. SimHub can read the inputs on PC via the base.

Frequently asked questions

Do the Raceline Pedals LTE work over USB on PC?

Not on their own. They connect to a Thrustmaster wheel base by RJ12 cable for PC and consoles, and reviewers note that standalone USB is not possible.

Which wheel bases are compatible with the Raceline Pedals LTE?

The T598, T818 and Thrustmaster force feedback bases including the TMX, T150, T300, TX, T-GT, T-GT II, TS-XW, TS-PC, T128 and T248, on PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC. The T500 is not supported.

How do the Raceline Pedals LTE feel?

OverTake's reviewer found them very easy to modulate, with travel suited to a wide range of cars, and stable on a desk with the included floor grips even using the harder brake spring.

Can I add a clutch and load cell brake to the Raceline Pedals LTE?

Yes. The Raceline LC Upgrade adds a load cell brake, a third pedal position, a wider metal plate and metal pedal heads, turning the LTE into a Raceline Pedals III LC.

Are there mounting issues with the Raceline Pedals LTE?

Reviewers report a bolt spacing of about 21.5 cm, different from the T-LCM, and no long-screw hole in the heel rest, so not every mounting point can be used on some decks. The setup still ended up stable.
