Driving style

The GT Cockpit Monitor Stand is for drivers who want a single large TV or monitor up to 65" in front of a ClubSport GT Cockpit, with an extra overhead screen for telemetry or streaming. Tom's Hardware Italia found it rock-steady during hard braking and sharp steering because it is not attached to the cockpit, so force feedback does not shake the screen, and OC Racing praised the stands' quality and matching look. Best for GT and endurance racers with a permanent, dedicated sim room, less suited for small spaces or anyone planning a triple-screen setup, which needs Fanatec's separate expansion kit.

Build quality

Mid-range build

The stand uses 50 mm diameter steel tubes with a horizontal steel mounting bar, adjustable feet and a matte black finish. Tom's Hardware Italia reports a well-designed, solidly built frame weighing 27.3 kg, with its large footprint and weight as the main drawbacks.

Software

The GT Cockpit Monitor Stand is a passive accessory and needs no software. Fanatec provides PDF quick guides in English, German, Spanish and French for assembly.

Frequently asked questions

What screen sizes does the GT Cockpit Monitor Stand support?

Fanatec lists 32" monitors up to 65" TVs with VESA 100x100 to 400x400 mm, with a maximum screen weight of 34 kg (75 lbs). The included overhead mount takes up to a 34" ultrawide on a 100x100 VESA pattern. Tom's Hardware Italia tested it with a 49" monitor and two 34" monitors.

Can I use the GT Cockpit Monitor Stand with a non-Fanatec cockpit?

Fanatec designs it to complement the ClubSport GT Cockpit. Because it is free-standing, Tom's Hardware Italia says it can work with other cockpits but advises checking dimensions first: the stand measures 925 x 1220 x 1380 mm.

Does the screen shake with force feedback on the GT Cockpit Monitor Stand?

According to Tom's Hardware Italia, stability is its strongest point: because the stand is not attached to the cockpit frame, force feedback vibrations do not reach the screen, and it stayed steady under hard braking and sharp steering.

How big and heavy is the GT Cockpit Monitor Stand?

It measures 925 x 1220 x 1380 mm (1745 mm tall with the overhead mount) and Tom's Hardware Italia reports a net weight of 27.3 kg. The reviewer considers size and weight its main drawbacks, suiting it to permanent setups in dedicated rooms.

Free-standing stand or the ClubSport GT Cockpit's onboard monitor mount?

The cockpit's onboard VESA mount handles 32" to 49" ultrawide monitors, but Boosted Media found it cannot bring the screen right up behind the wheel. The free-standing stand supports up to 65" TVs and isolates the screen from vibrations, at extra cost and floor space.

What warranty does the GT Cockpit Monitor Stand have?

Fanatec advertises a 3-year warranty on all products on its US store. It updated its warranty and return policies in 2025, as reported by GTPlanet, so check the current terms for your region before purchase.

Is the GT Cockpit Monitor Stand worth the price?

On October 13, 2026 Fanatec listed it at $349.99 in the US and €329.95 in the EU. OC Racing calls the stands high quality but notes they push a ClubSport GT Cockpit setup to about $2,180, and Boosted Media describes the free-standing mount as a costly add-on.

How do I adjust the GT Cockpit Monitor Stand?

The screen mount adjusts vertically so its center can match eye level, the feet level out uneven floors, and the whole stand can be moved forward or back to set viewing distance. T-channel rails accept extra equipment such as cameras or lights.
