MOZA 70mm Quick Release Adapter
Aluminum quick release to mount 70 mm third-party rims on MOZA bases
Description
The MOZA 70mm Quick Release Adapter lets you mount third-party steering wheels and rims with a 70 mm bolt pattern on any MOZA wheel base.
Build. The housing is aviation-grade aluminum alloy. BoxThisLap reports no looseness after several months of use.
Compatibility. MOZA lists all MOZA bases. With third-party wheels, only steering works through the base: buttons and paddles need the wheel's own USB connection to the PC. The six wheel mounting screws are not included, and some wheels must be opened to fasten them from inside.
Features & highlights
Driving style
The adapter suits MOZA base owners who want a specific round rim, such as a 350 mm drift or rally wheel from Sparco, MOMO or OMP, for Assetto Corsa drifting, EA WRC, BeamNG.drive or truck sims. A buyer with an R3 called the change with a 350 mm drift wheel night and day.
Best for drift, rally and road drivers who want a bigger round rim on a MOZA base; less suited for drivers who need a third-party wheel's buttons without running an extra USB cable.
Build quality
An aviation-grade aluminum alloy quick release. BoxThisLap found the build consistent with MOZA's other products and saw no looseness after several months of testing with a Fanatec BMW GT2 rim.
Software
The adapter has no electronics. Steering and force feedback come from the MOZA base and are set in MOZA Pit House. A third-party wheel's buttons need its own USB connection to the PC and its own software or game mapping.
