Driving style

The TSW is built for virtual trucking in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, and also suits bus and utility sims such as Taxi Life and Expeditions: A MudRunner Game. Its 400 mm rim and truck-style button layout recreate a cab, and paired with the optional truck mount it feels like a real driving position. Reviewers recommend at least an R9; on a 5 Nm R5 it can feel too big, and on an R9 it is slightly numbed. Best for dedicated truck sim players on a MOZA base; not suited for racing, where its size and lack of paddles hold it back.

Build quality

Mid-range build

A 4 mm internal aluminum frame gives the 400 mm rim a realistic weight, wrapped in hand-stitched microfiber leather, while the spokes and center hub are polymer composite. Reviewers describe it as well made and convincing. MOZA lists up to 24 months of warranty.

Software

The TSW is detected by MOZA Pit House on Windows PC, which offers a ready-made truck setup and handles button mapping, LED colors and telemetry. In Euro Truck Simulator 2, a reviewer had to map several buttons manually and adjust dead zone and linearity to avoid snap oversteer. It is PC only; third-party bases work through the MOZA Universal Hub Kit.

Frequently asked questions

Which wheel base should I use with the MOZA TSW?

It fits all MOZA bases, and third-party bases via the Universal Hub Kit. One reviewer says a 5 Nm R5 could feel too small for its size and found it slightly numbed on an R9; another tested it on an R12 and was happy.

Does the TSW work with Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator?

Yes, it is designed for them and reviewers tested it in ETS2. Several buttons were not recognized in ETS2's menu and had to be mapped manually, and labeled buttons need mapping in each game.

Why does the truck feel twitchy with the TSW?

A reviewer found the default in-game settings caused snap oversteer and fixed it by adjusting dead zone and linearity in the game's controller settings.

Does the TSW include stalks or a truck mount?

No. The Multi-function Stalks (lights, wipers, indicators, cruise control) and the truck mount that angles the base 0-75° are sold separately.

Are the TSW joysticks limiting?

A reviewer found the joysticks free of drift but limited to four directions, which made camera control awkward; they switched to four-button mode instead.

Is there an alternative to the TSW for truck sims?

Reviewers note MOZA faces little direct competition: it was the first dedicated truck wheel from a major brand and is described as the go-to choice for truck sim players building a dedicated setup.

Is the TSW worth it?

One reviewer scored it 9/10 and another calls it a good bit of kit for dedicated truckers. MOZA lists it at $229 on sale (regular $299); the mount and stalks add to the total cost.

What warranty does the TSW have?

MOZA's US store lists up to 24 months of warranty protection and a 14-day returns policy.
