MOZA CS V2P Steering Wheel
13" (330 mm) round aluminum wheel with forged carbon magnetic shifters
Description
The MOZA CS V2P is a 13-inch (330 mm) round steering wheel aimed at drifting, rally and road cars, at an entry price.
Build. Aluminum alloy face and back plates on an aviation-grade aluminum frame, microfiber leather grips and forged carbon fiber shifter paddles.
Controls. 6 mechanical buttons, 2 pressable joysticks (each can act as several keys) and 2 rotary encoders. Two magnetic shifter paddles use a non-contact sensor; there are no clutch paddles.
Lights. 10 RGB LEDs form a sequential shift light indicator with 7 color choices, adjustable in MOZA Pit House with intelligent telemetry.
Compatibility. Uses the all-metal MOZA quick release and works with wired (slip-ring) MOZA bases: R3, R5, R9 V2/V3, R12 V2, R16 V2, R21 V2, R21 Ultra and R25 Ultra. It does not work with the original wireless R9 V1, R16 V1 or R21 V1. PC only.
Features & highlights
Driving style
The CS V2P is a round rim for drivers who spin the wheel hand over hand. Its 330 mm size suits drifting in Assetto Corsa and CarX, rally in EA SPORTS WRC and DiRT Rally 2.0, and road and classic cars in Assetto Corsa, Automobilista 2, RaceRoom and iRacing. The aluminum frame is heavy, so it shines on an R9 V3 or stronger base and can feel muted on an R5. Best for budget-minded drift, rally and street drivers on MOZA bases; less suited for GT and formula racers who need many buttons, a clutch or a screen, where the KS Pro or CS Pro fit better.
Build quality
Face and back plates are aluminum alloy on an aviation-grade aluminum frame, with microfiber leather grips and forged carbon fiber shifters, so the wheel feels solid and durable for its price. It is relatively heavy, which can blunt force feedback on low-torque bases. MOZA lists up to 24 months of warranty.
Software
The CS V2P is set up in MOZA Pit House on Windows PC, where you map the buttons and joysticks and configure the RGB shift lights and telemetry. It is a PC wheel without console licensing. It only works with wired (conductive slip ring) MOZA bases; force feedback settings come from the base.
