Thrustmaster TH8 Sequential Knob
Metal sequential gear knob for the TH8A and TH8 RS shifters
Description
The Thrustmaster TH8 Sequential Knob is a sequential gearshift knob for the TH8A and TH8 RS shifters.
How it works. It is a replacement knob, not a shift plate: it screws directly onto the shifter stick. Thrustmaster recommends using it only with the sequential (+/-) plate installed, not the H-pattern (7+1) plate.
Build. 100% metal, 11 cm tall and 4 cm in diameter, weighing 220 g. It works on every platform the TH8A supports, since it has no electronics.
Features & highlights
Driving style
The Sequential Knob suits TH8A owners who run the sequential plate for rally, drift and touring cars in EA WRC, DiRT Rally 2.0, Assetto Corsa and RaceRoom, and want a taller, rally-style lever instead of the round H-pattern knob. Best for TH8A or TH8 RS owners who mostly use sequential mode; less suited for H-pattern drivers or TH8S owners, as it is not designed for them.
Build quality
The knob is 100% metal, 11 cm tall and 220 g, and screws directly onto the TH8A or TH8 RS stick. It has no moving parts or electronics, so durability depends on the shifter itself.
Software
The knob has no electronics and needs no software. Sequential mode is selected on the TH8A by installing the sequential (+/-) plate, which the shifter detects automatically; gate settings remain in the TH8A's PC software.
