MOZA mBooster Pedal Set with CRP2 Throttle โ€” Active force feedback brake bundled with CRP2 throttle and plates

MOZA mBooster Pedal Set with CRP2 Throttle

Active force feedback brake bundled with CRP2 throttle and plates

Description

The MOZA mBooster Pedal Set bundles the mBooster active pedal with a CRP2 throttle, CRP2 base plate, extension plate and the active pedal's power supply, so it is ready to mount as a complete throttle and brake setup.

Active brake. A high-torque servo motor with ball screw drive and dual 200 kg load cells. Pedal stiffness, travel, damping and rebound are set in software, and it simulates ABS, lock-up, traction control, gear shifts and G-force effects in supported sims.

Throttle. The CRP2 throttle uses a Hall-effect sensor in an aluminum body with adjustable springs and travel.

Setup. Connects to a PC via USB with external power for the active pedal; no mechanical brake adjustment is needed. A CRP2 clutch can be added separately, or the mBooster can be assigned to clutch duty.

Driving style

This bundle is for PC racers who want active braking without assembling parts. The mBooster brings ABS and lock-up feedback to iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Assetto Corsa, Automobilista 2, RaceRoom and EA SPORTS WRC, while the CRP2 throttle gives smooth Hall-sensor control. It suits rig owners who enjoy tuning per car and sim. Best for committed GT, endurance and rally sim racers who want immersive braking at a lower price than Simucube; less suited for casual players, who will be happier with the passive CRP2 or SRP2 sets.

Build quality

Premium build

The mBooster's aluminum alloy body houses a servo motor with ball screw drive and dual 200 kg load cells, and the CRP2 throttle and plates are aluminum and steel. Reviewers describe the brake as solid but note noise and vibration in use. MOZA lists up to 24 months of warranty.

Software

Both pedals are configured in MOZA Pit House on Windows PC: the mBooster's mode, stiffness, travel, damping, effects and presets, and the throttle's travel and curve. Active effects depend on each sim's telemetry support. The set connects via USB with external power for the active pedal and works on PC with any wheel base brand.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in the mBooster Pedal Set?

The mBooster Active Pedal, a CRP2 Throttle Pedal, the CRP2 base plate, an extended plate and the active pedal's power supply. A clutch is not included.

Is the bundle cheaper than buying the mBooster separately?

At launch the bundle cost $999 versus $799 for the mBooster alone, adding the CRP2 throttle and plates for $200. MOZA now lists it at $949 on sale.

Do I need a MOZA wheel base?

No. The pedals connect to the PC by USB, and a reviewer confirms the mBooster does not need a MOZA wheel base.

How does the active brake feel?

A reviewer found the load cell feel solid even with effects off and the ABS and lock-up feedback strong in AC, ACC and iRacing, though with a slightly stepped sensation at constant pressure.

mBooster set vs Simucube ActivePedal?

Simucube's pedal was judged clearer and more precise with better software, but costs roughly double. The mBooster is positioned as the value alternative.

How much tuning does the mBooster need?

Pit House offers 15 presets and per-car profiles, but a reviewer says getting the best from it takes lengthy tuning per car and sim, making it less suited to casual use.

Is it loud?

MOZA rates the active pedal at 44 dB when on, and it becomes louder and more vibratory during use.

What warranty does the mBooster Pedal Set have?

MOZA's US store lists up to 24 months of warranty protection and a 14-day returns policy.
