MOZA SRP2 Rear Support Bracket โ€” Steel brace that stops SRP2 pedals sliding when used on the floor

MOZA SRP2 Rear Support Bracket

Steel brace that stops SRP2 pedals sliding when used on the floor

Description

The MOZA SRP2 Rear Support Bracket is a brace for MOZA SRP2 pedals used on the floor without a cockpit.

Purpose. Load cell pedals take far more force than potentiometer pedals, and a floor-standing set tends to slide away under hard braking. The bracket extends from the rear of the pedal base and braces it against a wall to keep the set in place.

Build and fit. It is made from high-strength steel to resist bending under repeated use and adjusts sideways to match the pedal spacing. Bolts and a wrench are included for a quick install.

Compatibility. Made for the SRP2 pedal set (two pedals, with or without the SRP2 clutch). It is not needed when the pedals are bolted to a rig or wheel stand.

Features & highlights

Rear brace for SRP2 pedals on the floor
Braces pedal base against a wall
High-strength steel
Sideways adjustment for pedal spacing
Bolts and wrench included
Stops floor-standing SRP2 pedals sliding
Cheap alternative to a rig for desk setups

Driving style

The bracket suits SRP2 owners racing from a desk and office chair or a sofa, where the pedals sit loose on the floor and slide forward under load cell braking in any sim.

Best for desk racers without a cockpit who have a wall behind the pedals; less suited for anyone with a rig or wheel stand, where the pedals are already bolted down.

Frequently asked questions

What is the SRP2 Rear Support Bracket for?

It stops SRP2 pedals sliding when they sit on the floor without a rig. The bracket braces the rear of the pedal base against a wall, so hard braking on the load cell does not push the set away.

Do I need it if my pedals are on a cockpit?

No. If the SRP2 is bolted to a rig or wheel stand, it cannot slide and the bracket adds nothing. It is meant for desk or floor setups with a wall behind the pedals.

Does it fit the SRP2 with the clutch pedal?

MOZA links both the two-pedal SRP2 set and the SRP2 clutch as related products, and the bracket adjusts sideways to pedal spacing. MOZA does not list exact configurations, so confirm with MOZA support for a three-pedal layout.

Is the bracket strong enough for load cell braking?

MOZA says it is high-strength steel designed to resist bending under repeated use. There are no customer reviews yet to confirm long-term durability.

Bracket or wheel stand: which should I get?

The $29 bracket solves sliding for floor use if a wall is available. A wheel stand or cockpit costs more but holds wheel base and pedals together and works anywhere in the room.

What warranty does the bracket have?

MOZA's store lists up to 24 months of warranty protection and a 14-day return policy.

Is it worth $29?

For SRP2 owners racing without a rig, it is a cheap fix for the most common floor-pedal problem. If you already use a cockpit, skip it.
