MOZA SRP Lite2 Brake Performance Kit — Spring and damping block upgrade for a firmer SRP Lite2 brake

MOZA SRP Lite2 Brake Performance Kit

Spring and damping block upgrade for a firmer SRP Lite2 brake

Description

The MOZA SRP Lite2 Brake Performance Kit upgrades the brake of the SRP Lite2 pedal set.

What it does. It replaces the standard brake arrangement with a spring and damping block combination, giving higher braking resistance, a more progressive build-up and a firmer end stop.

Installation. Fits the existing pedal with no rewiring or permanent modification and can be reversed. The SRP Lite2's 15 mm side and 36 mm height adjustment is unaffected. Pedal output and curves are fine-tuned in MOZA Pit House.

Compatibility. SRP Lite2 pedals only; it does not fit the original SR-P Lite.

Driving style

This kit is for SRP Lite2 owners who find the stock brake too light and want a firmer, more progressive pedal for trail braking in iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, the F1 series and Assetto Corsa. It changes the mechanical feel but keeps the original sensor, so it improves consistency without becoming a load cell. Best for budget racers who want a better brake feel without replacing their pedals; drivers wanting true pressure-based braking should look at the SRP2.

Build quality

Entry-level build

A mechanical spring and damping block set that drops into the existing SRP Lite2 brake without wiring changes. MOZA lists up to 24 months of warranty.

Software

The kit has no electronics. After installing it, recalibrate the brake and adjust output and curves in MOZA Pit House on Windows PC. The SRP Lite2 pedals connect over USB.

Frequently asked questions

Does the SRP Lite2 Brake Performance Kit fit the original SR-P Lite?

No. It works only with SRP Lite2 pedal sets and does not fit the original SR-P Lite pedals.

What does the kit change in brake feel?

It replaces the stock arrangement with a spring and damping block combination for higher resistance, a progressive build-up and a firmer end stop. One customer wished for more control over how stiff it gets.

Is installation permanent?

No. It installs on the existing pedal without rewiring or permanent modification and can be reversed.

Do I need to recalibrate after installing?

MOZA recommends monitoring pedal output and fine-tuning travel and signal curves in MOZA Pit House after installation.

Should I buy this kit or upgrade to SRP2 pedals?

The kit ($39) firms up the SRP Lite2's existing brake. The SRP2 ($149) adds a 100 kg load cell for pressure-based braking, which reviewers describe as properly progressive, so it is the bigger upgrade.

Is the kit worth $39?

It is an inexpensive way to get a firmer, more consistent brake on SRP Lite2 pedals without replacing them; the one customer review was positive but wanted more stiffness control.

What warranty does the kit have?

MOZA's US store lists up to 24 months of warranty protection and a 14-day returns policy.
