MOZA mBooster Base Plate
High-strength steel mounting plate for one or more mBooster Active Pedals and CRP/CRP2 pedal modules
Description
The MOZA mBooster Base Plate is a high-strength steel mounting plate for the mBooster Active Pedal. It gives the mBooster and its companion pedals a common base that bolts to a rig or cockpit.
Layouts. It has pre-drilled holes for CRP and CRP2 pedals, so a CRP2 throttle or clutch can sit next to the mBooster, and it supports multi-unit mBooster setups. MOZA's support guide describes it as fitting up to three mBooster Active Pedals.
Mounting. The plate secures to a rig with 4 to 6 M8 bolts, needs no modification to work with CRP, CRP2 or mBooster pedals, and is compatible with MOZA's pedal inverted mounting bracket.
Which plate do I need? If you already own a CRP2 pedal set and want to keep its base, MOZA recommends the separate mBooster Base Extension Plate instead, because the mBooster is longer than the CRP2 plate's mounting holes.
Features & highlights
Driving style
The mBooster Base Plate is for drivers building a high-end MOZA pedal set around the mBooster Active Pedal, whether a single mBooster brake with CRP2 throttle and clutch or several mBoosters in a row. That setup targets serious GT, formula and endurance racing in iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione and Le Mans Ultimate, where a programmable active brake is the main draw. Traxion.gg notes the full mBooster package sits close to 500 mm deep, so the plate matters for keeping everything aligned and rigid.
Best for new mBooster owners setting up a fresh pedal deck, or anyone running more than one mBooster; less suited for existing CRP2 owners who only want to add one mBooster, for whom the cheaper Base Extension Plate is the intended solution.
Build quality
A high-strength steel plate with pre-drilled mounting holes for mBooster and CRP/CRP2 pedals and slots for M8 rig bolts. It is a simple structural part; we found no independent reviews focused on the plate itself, and Traxion.gg's mBooster review reported no mounting issues.
Software
The base plate is purely mechanical and needs no software. The mBooster Active Pedal and any CRP2 pedals mounted on it are configured in MOZA Pit House on Windows, and connect to a PC over USB or to a MOZA wheel base.
Platform support depends on the pedals and base, not on the plate.
