MOZA Multi-function Stalks

Road-car turn signal, wiper and light stalks with 28 programmable switches

Description

The MOZA Multi-function Stalks (RS065) add road-car steering column stalks to a sim rig, mounted behind the wheel on a MOZA wheel base. They are aimed at truck, road and driving sims rather than lap times.

Controls. Separate levers cover turn signals, wipers, headlights and cruise control, with 28 programmable switches in total. Turn signals are designed to cancel automatically after a turn, as in a real car.

Mounting. The steel bracket and aluminum extension rods bolt to the front mounting holes of MOZA bases from the R3 to the R21, in a standard or inverted layout, with screws hidden under magnetic plates. Early R16 and R21 units without front holes need the separate MOZA adapter plate, which also helps on some third-party bases. The unit weighs 700 g and measures 411 × 127 × 152 mm.

Connection. The stalks connect through the MOZA base or directly to a PC over USB-C, and are configured in MOZA Pit House, which includes default mappings for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.

Driving style

The Multi-function Stalks suit PC players of Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, BeamNG.drive, City Car Driving and Assetto Corsa road and cruising mods, where indicators, wipers, lights and cruise control are used constantly. Reviewers call them an immersion add-on rather than a performance part, and they work well on MOZA truck setups with the TSW wheel.

Best for MOZA base owners who drive trucks and road cars and want a real-car cockpit; less suited for racers chasing lap times, console players or owners of other brands' bases without a bracket.

Build quality

Mid-range build

The stalks are injection-molded plastic with a magnetic metal center ring, mounted on a high-strength steel bracket with aluminum alloy extension rods. OC Racing found the switches solid with a firm, predictable click, while Sim Tourist noted some flex depending on the mount, a soft wiper selector and sharp edges on the metal ring.

Software

The stalks are configured in MOZA Pit House on Windows PC, which assigns the 28 switches and includes default mappings for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator; most other games need manual binding in their control menus. Assetto Corsa via Content Manager can map nearly all functions.

They connect through a MOZA base or by USB-C as their own device. There is no Xbox or PlayStation support.

Frequently asked questions

Which wheel bases are the MOZA Multi-function Stalks compatible with?

MOZA lists all its bases from the R3 to the R21 that have front mounting holes. Early R16 and R21 units without front holes need the separate MOZA adapter plate. MOZA says third-party bases work with optional brackets, but reviewers found no official brackets and could not mount it on a Fanatec CSL DD with the included hardware.

Do the MOZA stalks work on Xbox or PlayStation?

No. MOZA lists PC as the platform, and OC Racing notes they work only on PC with MOZA's software.

Which games work with the MOZA Multi-function Stalks?

Pit House has default mappings for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Reviewers also used them in BeamNG.drive, Taxi Simulator and Assetto Corsa after binding controls in each game. Cruise control and wipers depend on the game, and one buyer reported cruise control not working in ETS2/ATS.

Do the turn signals cancel automatically?

MOZA advertises auto-cancelling indicators, and OC Racing found the stalk snaps back to neutral after a turn. Sim Tourist first saw no true self-cancel, but a reader pointed out the stalks must be seated correctly using the extension bolts, which fixed it.

Is installation difficult?

OC Racing found it simple on a MOZA base. Sim Tourist found the instructions unclear and on an R9 V2 the included bolts did not line up, so the shaft extender was needed. Plan time to adjust distance from the wheel.

How are the MOZA stalks different from a button box?

A button box offers generic buttons and rotaries, while the stalks copy a road car's column levers for signals, wipers, lights and cruise control. They are an immersion add-on for road and truck sims, and reviewers note they give no competitive advantage in racing.

What warranty do the MOZA Multi-function Stalks have?

MOZA's store lists up to 24 months of warranty protection and a 14-day return policy.

Are the MOZA stalks worth $199?

Reviewers find them fun and immersive but call the price high for a niche accessory; OC Racing noted they sell for around $162 at some retailers. They make most sense for regular truck or road-sim players on a MOZA base.
